Latest NewsNotes for CoM meeting of 6/8/24Local Volunteers help with plantingVolunteers Needed
Are you proficient with a chainsaw and possess a TAFE or similar accreditation in chainsaw use level 1(limbing)? Are you able to assist keeping our foreshore walking track clear and safe.
From time to time trees or branches get blown down across our walking track, usually after storms, making it unsafe and in need of urgent clearing. It is not usually possible to get contractors in at short notice and is extremely expensive. The Foreshore Committee (CoM) is seeking to establish a “go to” list of volunteers we can call upon at short notice to assist. The CoM has an electric chainsaw and all the relevant safety gear we just need volunteers with the expertise to use it. You would be assisted by a CoM member. If you think you could be of assistance or need further information please contact Secretary David Laing via our email address – [email protected] Online Bookings for the caravan park now available
